To be a total nerd, This cat breed is a Korat, they hail from Thailand and a rare breed here in the United States and through out Europe. They are never bought in Thailand but given as gifts for “good luck” to newly weds. They are a medium sized cat, with cobbled and compact body. they look light but unexpectedly heavy. Females can wiegh up to 8 lbs and males 10 lbs. they are a blue/grey cat with silver tipped fur. this is a visual effect due to the hollowing of the hair, when the light hits it, a silver shine will appear. They’re eyes are quite large and emerald green when they fully mature, about 4 years, they are blue or gray when they are born. They can also live up to 15+ years if well taken care of.

They are very social and play, make good cats for children. they tend to bond with one main person, cat, or other pet and will not leave their side. Once they bond they will follow you, must be close to you where ever you go and may even get in the shower with you.
Both male and female cats make very good parents if given the chance to get to know they’re kittens.

It is also said that Korats wear used to guard villages and houses in Thailand, and the males would ride on the sholders of warriors riding into battle. they would jump onto the enemy and attack, but that’s just legend.
