The Grammys we actually worth watching this year. Lady gaga had here egg
Then Janelle Monae stole the whole perfomance from both Bruno Mars and B.O.B. btw, she had that style way before Bruno did.
A FUCKING AMAZING PERFORMANCE BY MUMFORD & SONS, THE AVETT BROTHERS WHO BOTH JOIN BOB DYLAN. WHAT? HELL YEAH! SO AMAZING, MUMFORD & SONS PLAY “THE CAVE”, MY FAVOURITE SONG. AHHH!!!!!
BUT nothing surprised me more than my favourite band Arcade Fire winning Album of the year for their long over due third album: The Suburbs. This is Their First Grammy, they were nominated for Best Alternative Album for all three albums. I think its really funny how they actually when to the Grammy Awards, know that that is not really their thing, they’re in it for the music.
I loved Win’s comment,”What the hell?!” when they received their award… I was so happy that the award went to someone or a group of people that actually deserved it. I love you Mama Monster, but you didn’t save me in High School, they did. Congratulations, Arcade Fire, show the world a different light.
I would like to also congratulate The Black Keys, La Roux, Esperanza Spalding, Iron Maiden, Neil Young, Alejandro Sans, and Julie Andrews.
That was my thought on the 53rd Grammy Awards.
